Starters is operated by OpsAssembly LLC DBA Starters (“Starters,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through meetstarters.com, the Starters application, and related services.

• Company information, including information submitted through a Company Brief or provided during the matching process.
• Starter information, including professional experience, profile details, availability, areas of expertise, and engagement preferences.

• Communications, including messages you send to Starters and responses to surveys or support requests.
• Technical information, such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, and basic usage data.

• Operate and improve Starters.
• Create and manage accounts.
• Match companies with relevant Starters.
• Facilitate introductions, proposals, and working relationships.
• Review and publish approved Starter profile information.
• Communicate about accounts, opportunities, and service updates.

How we share information

We may share information:

• With relevant Starters and companies when needed to evaluate a potential match or support an existing relationship.
• Publicly, when a Starter has authorized specific profile information for public display.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Company Briefs and profiles

Company Briefs are used for matching and may be shared with qualified operators evaluating the opportunity. Do not include trade secrets or other highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable sharing it for that purpose.

Starter profile information is not made public unless it has been selected and authorized for publication. Other profile information may still be used privately for matching.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies where needed for authentication, security, preferences, and basic service analytics. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and legal records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
